A Privacy-respecting Eco-conscious affordable Hybrid Dumb / Smarter Phone

Design goal: to create a simple-to-use upgradeable phone that respects privacy, is long-term affordable, does not end up in landfill after twelve months due to software updates being unavailable, and many more issues.
